Being the President of the club and a Young Fellowship recipient of the International Cognitive Science Society. I will ensure active participation of all the members in the club. We have emphasized this from the very beginning that, "If you can think out of the box", then this club is for you and everything else will be taught accordingly.
As a club, we will mainly focus on integrating interdisciplinary ideas to create a unified approach towards Cognitive Science. We will be implementing ideas from both Analytical Psychology and Mathematical Philosophy to create mathematical models for Cognitive architectures and AI driven systems. We will be hosting workshops, seminars/webinars to help our members learn the different methods of modelling the important ideas both mathematically and technically. We shall host in house debates, thought experiment sessions to help our members think exorbitantly, and embellish in a free thinking session. Since, psychological studies heavily depend on Survey Data and Analysis, we ourselves being from Statistics background will give our members introductory lessons on Survey Collection and inference, we also have plans of hosting workshops and seminars for, "Survey Collection and analysis for Social and Psychological studies." As you know, another important aspect of our club is the study of Human Sexuality and Sexual Fluidity from a scientific and psychological perspective. I having studied the subject thoroughly and having published few works, will take upon the task to actively indulge our members into the scientific study of Human Sexuality and Sexual Fluidity and the difficulties of implementing them using Cognitive Architectures. We also have planned events like seminars and workshops for that purpose. Thus, to sum it up.... If you wanna know, who cut the Barber's hair, we're the club you wanna join.. |
Being The Social and Public Relations Head, I aim to organize diverse and relevant range of social events in the club that would appraise, unravel or lessen the impact of physical and mental health issues.
We aim that students of this prestigious institution will have their voice and feel empowered in their lives. Our main emphasis is on the events that will bring the students together to interact. For this we are lined up with events such as open speaking sessions, where students will put their problems and mental health issues surrounding them. Here, conveners of our club or the members among themselves will listen to the issues and will come up with the best possible solutions they would take therein. This would somehow create an atmosphere of comfort to those students in specific who find themselves burdened up with mental pressure. LGBTQ+ communities must have their voices heard, and issues addressed to create a better representation. They are the people who suffer the most mentally, because of the reaction they usually get from common people. So, we aim to provide a safe place to LGBTQ+ in the campus by spreading awareness among the students. For this we suppose to welcome a speaker of LGBTQ+ community who will share the experience and will ingrain how that person has grown up facing challenges and has overcome the discomfort of life in a positive way. It is scientifically proven that paintings or the colourful things enhance brain functionality. So, we plan to organize an event called (Mindful Colouring) in which students of the club will make a psychological art /surreal art that will allow students mind to relax and let go of all the problems that contribute to a high stress level. We also aim to maintain an institutional representation in rainbow festivals and Pride parades. Depression being a major disorder among the students. We will have a seminar/webinar based on “Statistical studies on Depression in India and factors affecting it” |
